1. Empty liquor bottles
I used to keep all the empty liquor bottles my friends and I drank, and display them in my dorm room. Eventually, I came to my senses and realized that they are trash and not decor. However, there are ways to repurpose empty liquor bottles so they’ll be more appropriate decor like putting fairy lights in them or turn it into a lamp. Just google ways to repurpose a liquor bottle if you truly cannot bring yourself to throw out
WAIT
what if…

2. Random signs
Those random street signs, no-parking signs, campaign signs, and other random signs you stole are not decorations. They are signs. Their purpose is to be displayed, but not in your room. There are always exceptions but use your best judgement.
3. Street cones
These shouldn’t be decor nor should they even be in your apartment/house. I’ve yet to see anyone aesthetically present a large neon orange cone

4. Beer pong table
I think it’s fine to own one. However, I just don’t agree with permanently displaying a beer pong table. I’ve seen whole rooms dedicated to beer pong.I think the space could be better utilized to be something classier.
5. Flags
Simply because you have a flag doesn’t mean it has to be displayed. I’ve seen some poorly placed flags in doorways and over windows. However, I’ve also seen on rare occasions seen one well displayed. I guess i’m just tired of dudes considering their rooms decorated by throwing a poorly placed flag thumb-tacked to the wall
